The reduction of radiotherapy-induced dysphagia might be achieved by adaptive radiotherapy. It is well known that radiation damage of the pharyngeal constrictor muscles, the glottic larynx, and the supraglottic larynx may lead to dysphagia, an unwanted effect of head and neck radiotherapy.
